I’m 30, a proud mum to my little boy, and someone who’s always felt there had to be more to life than stress, burnout, and working just to get by.

For most of my twenties, I worked across various jobs before settling into an admin role I stayed in for nearly a decade. It was remote, yes – but the pressure was relentless. Understaffed team, unmanageable workload, and overtime that didn’t even get recognised.

I kept asking myself: Is this it? Is this what life’s supposed to feel like?

Then I became a mum – and everything changed. That little boy gave me the biggest reason to stop settling. I knew I couldn’t go back to that life, not when I had a chance to build something better for both of us.

So in 2024, during my maternity leave, I took a leap and started my own online business. I didn’t have a business degree, a plan, or even much confidence in the beginning… but I had a deep feeling that I was made for more – more time, more freedom, more presence in motherhood, and more joy.

Right now, I’m working part-time in retail while I build my business from the ground up. It’s not the final destination – just a stepping stone. Every day, I’m working towards creating a life that’s aligned with who I am and what truly matters to me: being present with my son, creating financial freedom, and building something that’s mine.
